Anna Williams

Anna Williams is Head of Human Resources for Acorn Education Trust. She is responsible for developing all aspects of the employee cycle, ensuring that all staff are fully equipped and supported to deliver their best work.

Anna started teaching in 1995, with a passion for languages and a desire to promote education as a means for changing lives. She spent several years as a Curriculum Leader of German, then Modern Foreign Languages at Kingdown School, before entering senior leadership in 2007. As Deputy Head her responsibilities included teacher training, staff induction, recruitment and line management of middle leaders.

Through her previous roles, Anna gained a comprehensive understanding of managing personnel and the joys and challenges that naturally brings. This knowledge, combined with her understanding of how schools are led, managed and operationally organised, allows her to manage complex employee relations matters, policy development, academy conversions and HR development across Acorn Education Trust.

Anna proactively works across the Trust to nurture and support, both teachers and business staff, to ensure that Acorn Education Trust is an employer of choice, with excellent career development opportunities for all.
