Clarendon girls head to Twickenham

13 March 2019

During Term three a group of girls from the Clarendon Academy were selected to try out Rugby with the Bath Rugby Foundation. The girls who are all in Year 10 and Year 11, attended many training sessions. They embraced the sport fully and gave their full commitment to becoming the best rugby players they could be. The girls had the opportunity to play at 'The Rec',  the home of Bath rugby, and had a great experience being shown around the stadium and playing against other schools.

The girls have been invited to represent the Clarendon Academy at half time during this year's 'The Clash', a game between Bath and Bristol, which will be held at Twickenham Stadium in front of thousands of supporters. We have no doubt that the girls do themselves and the school proud.
