Teaching Assistant & Midday Supervisor

Pay: Teaching Assistant - NJC Scale 3, Point 14 (£9.16 per hour)
MDSA – NJC Scale 1, point 7 (£8.55 per hour)
Hours of work: Four days per week term time only (38 weeks per year)
(TA - 5.5 hours per day = 22 hours, MDSA - 40 mins per day)
Dilton Marsh Church of England Primary School are looking to appoint an enthusiastic and motivated Teaching Assistant and MDSA to work 4 days a week term time only.

Mid-day Supervisory Assistant (MDSA)
This role will be in conjunction with the Teaching Assistant role. You should have good communication skills to be able to deal with young people effectively and, on occasion, parents and other visitors to the school. You will be responsible, under the direction of the Senior MDSA or other designated person, for securing the safety, welfare and good conduct of pupils during the break period in accordance with the practices and procedures of the school and Academy Trust. You must be able to work with a variety of staff, in a school setting, build good working relationships, and be organised, consistent with a positive “can-do” attitude. We are looking for someone who is very much a team player, willing to work alongside colleagues in a flexible and cooperative way.
