Finance Administator - Clarendon Academy

Clarendon Academy is seeking to appoint a Finance Administrator, on a temporary fixed term (six months) contract, to join our friendly team.

Contract: Temporary fixed term for 6 months

Pay: £9.94 per hour

Hours: 20 hours per week, 39 weeks per year (term time only)

Required: September 2019

Working within the Trust provides support and career opportunities for progression. We are based in the large town of Trowbridge, in easy commuter distance from Bath. We pride ourselves on being a centre of excellence and a place where young, enthusiastic children enter in Year 7 and leave us at the end of Year 13 as fully rounded young adults.

Roles and responsibilities will include:

  • Day to day administration of purchasing for the Clarendon Academy

We would like to hear from you if you:

  • Have achieved grade C, or above, in 5 GCSE subjects, including Maths and English
  • Preferably, have an accounting qualification or have accountancy experience
  • Have experience of working in a busy office environment
  • Are extremely well presented and articulate, with good communication skills
  • Have sound ICT skills, including fast and accurate keyboard skills (preferably with typing skills)
  • Have superb attention to detail and organisational skills
  • Are self-motivated, dedicated and consistent
  • Have strong interpersonal skills and be able to work with a variety of staff, students and parents
  • Are a really strong team player and a flexible attitude
